Alisha Naqvi and Rela Kadiam formed Kits of Kindness in August 2023, an organization dedicated to aiding Houston’s homeless population. KKits originally started as a simple CAS (Creativity, Activity, and Service) Project for our IB Diplomas. However, as we saw the increasing homeless rates and the conditions they were facing, we felt one drive wouldn’t be enough. We expanded Kits of Kindness to an ongoing initiative, passing out kits every month. Our goal is to continually provide essential supplies and support to those in need, ensuring that our efforts have a lasting and meaningful impact on our community.
